Amiens Cathedral

This low-resolution image was taken from a slide shot around 1990. It offers a view of the cathedral that is now blocked by recent construction that has filled in the holes in the urban fabric left by World War II.
You can see the line of chapels along the lower level of the nave.
Note that the cathedral is still in its unclean state. Campaigns of cleaning that began around 1990 are still underway today (in 2016)
