South choir aisles into ambulatory

We are now entering the turning bays of the ambulatory. The presence of stained glass (mostly modern) and the nineteenth-century paintwork in the radiating chapels makes it quite dark.
In the Middle Ages the spaces between the main piers on the left were filled with tombs and sculptured panels.
