Axial chapel of Notre-Dame de la Drapière

This chapel, probably established c.1252 served as church for the inhabitants of the parish of Notre Dame in the area of the cloister to the south of the cathedral. It also served the weavers of the city. The lateral sides of the chapel were originally lined with stalls (seats) for the clergy.
Deeper than the other chapels it has some similarities with the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris (dedicated 1248)--common features include the dado with cusped pointed arches (downstairs in the Ste-Chapelle) and the tracery windows with three stacked trefoils.
