Also called sunakake 砂かけ, sunasukui 砂掬い, and ezue え杖. Also written 束杖. A thin wooden board used to sweep the sand in the toilet area *sunasetchin 砂雪隠 or *shitabara setchin下腹雪隠 of the tea garden *roji 露地. Typically it is about 89 cm long.
