Also called mizutare kōbai 水垂勾配, mizutorikōbai 水取勾配, mizutori 水取. A roof that has a pitch and gutters suitable to allow the natural run-off of rainwater. This would also apply to any pent roof or rain deflecting device over doors or windows.
