1 Lit. "a pull bridge." A type bridge that can be pulled into a castle. One such example is the kurumabashi 車橋, a bridge with wheels attached so that it can be rolled inside. In some cases, the wheels are attached to the foundation.
2 A removable bridge. A bridge made of wooden crosspieces that can be removed leaving only the girders.
