Castles
A moon viewing tower of the *yagura 櫓 type found at a number of castles. Also chakutō yagura 着到櫓 or monomi-no-yagura 物見の櫓. Representative examples include the tsukimi yagura at Okayama-jō 岡山城 in Okayama Prefecture, Matsumoto-jō 松本城 in Nagano Prefecture, and Takamatsu-jō 高松城 (North Ward) in Kagawa Prefecture. Often classed as *tsuzuki yagura 続櫓 (connecting tower) Okayama-jō and *sumiyagura 隅櫓 (corner tower) Takamatsu-jō.
