              Also called oreaikugi 折合釘 or mageorekugi 曲折釘. A type of double-pointed iron nail, square in section, and bent into an L-shape. Used to attach the frames of opaque paper sliding screens *fusuma 襖, to a skeletal framework, hammered down so that they are not visible from the exterior. Aiorekugi typically are spaced about 21 cm apart.
