Ch: Fenggan. The Tang-dynasty priest noted for his eccentric behavior, who was usually depicted with his pet tiger. Fenggan is said to have lived at the temple Guoqingsi 国清寺 on Mt. Tiantai (Jp: Tendai 天台), where he raised the orphan Shide (Jp: Jittoku 拾得).
