Also written 庁舎 and read chō-no-ya or chōsha. A building in which priests gathered to discuss ceremonies and rituals described in the Shintō myōmoku ruijūshō 神道名目類聚鈔, a six-volume set that is a type of Shinto dictionary contains information about various aspects of Shinto. 

Example: Chō-no-ya, now called the north Shinsenjo 神饌所 at Kamo Wakeikazuchi Jinja 賀茂別雷神社 (1863) in Kyoto.
