degumi 出組

A one-stepped bracket complex parallel to but separated from the wall by the extension of a rainbow beam, *kōryō 虹梁, that fits into a large bearing block, *daito 大斗, atop a pillar, *hashira 柱, and continues outward in the shape of a bracket arm. A smaller bearing block, *masu 斗, is secured on its outer end. A bracket arm, *hijiki 肘木, carrying three bearing blocks is arranged on it to receive an eave purlin, *dashigeta 出桁.
