deha 出端

Also called de 出.

1　Also called *noki-no-de 軒の出, yane-no-de 屋根の出. An eave extension. Both the forward projection and the length itself are referred to as deha.

2　The first row of seats in front of the first-story seats at the *kabuki 歌舞伎 theater in Osaka. They are higher than the ba 場, but below the shimosajiki 下桟敷. They were referred to as the takadoma 高土間 in the Edo period.
