Also hanabishimon 花菱文. Decorative patterns *mon'yō 文様, or crests, monshō 紋章, that consist of diamond-shaped flower motifs. A type of diamond pattern *hishi 菱. Examples include crests, kenkabishi 剣花菱, and four-diamond patterns, yotsubanabishi 四つ花菱, and traditional Chinese textile patterns such as saiwaibishi 幸菱.
