Measurements of a Buddhist statue and attachments. They include:
sōkō 総高: full height including the pedestal.
zōkō 像高: height of a statue itself.
hassaidaka 髪際高: height from the edge of the hair on the forehead to the feet. Traditionally the standard heights such as *jōroku 丈六 and *tōshin 等身 have been determined by this measurement.
zaoku 坐奥: depth.
byakugōkō 白毫高: height from the curl of white hair on the forehead *byakugō 白毫.
chōago 頂顎 (also read itadakiago): height from the top of the head to the bottom of the jaws.
hassaiago 髪際顎: height between the edge of the hair on the forehead and the bottom of the jaws.
menchō 面長: length of the face.
menhaba 面幅: width of the face.
mimihari 耳張: width between the ears.
hijihari 臂張: width between the elbows.
munaoku 胸奥: depth (length between the front and back) of the breast.
haraoku 腹奥: depth (length between the front and back) of the abdomen.
hizataka 膝高: height from the knee.
hizahari 膝張: width between the two knees.
susohari 裾張: width of the skirt.
ashisakibiraki 足先開: width between two toes.
kōhaidaka 光背高: height of halo.
