Lit. "one and a half *chakushu ちゃく手." Approximately 36.3 cm. A standard size for small Buddhist statues, such as private, portable Buddhist images *nenjibutsu 念持仏 or Buddhist images that were placed inside a larger one *tainaibutsu 胎内仏. The term itchakushuhan was also used more broadly to indicate any small Buddhist images around 30 cm in height.
