Also read Kisshōten mandara. A variety of dedicated mandala *besson mandara 別尊曼荼羅, centered on the goddess *Kichijōten 吉祥天. She is depicted flanked on the left and right by *Bonten 梵天 and *Taishakuten 帝釈天, while a six-tusked white elephant holding an agate jar with its trunk is shown causing jewels to rain down from above. A polychrome example is kept at the MOA Museum (Shizuoka Prefecture); formerly in the possession of Kanchiin 観智院, Kyoto.
