Two light wooden frames covered with translucent paper *shōji 障子, usually set into a single track, one bay ikken 一間 wide. One screen is wide and moveable while the other is very narrow and normally stationary. When only one track is used, it is called hitosuji komochi shōji 一筋子持障子.
