Also termed koshimaki-ishigaki 腰巻石垣, a waist-bandstone wall. A stone wall built around the lower part of an earthen, embankment *doi 土居. A head-band earthen embankment is called *hachimakidoi 鉢巻土居 and is the same as hachimaki-ishigaki 鉢巻石垣 (a headband stone wall).
