The Kyoto branch of the Kano school *Kano-ha 狩野派, founded by Kano Sanraku 狩野山楽 (1559-1635), who continued to work in Kyoto after Kano Tan'yū 狩野探幽 (1602-74) and his disciples moved to Edo to serve the shogunate.
