1 Another name for a temple called Hōjōji 法成寺, built at the end of the tenth to beginning of the 11th century for Fujiwara Michinaga 藤原道長 (966-1029) in Kyoto on the west bank of the Kamo 賀茂 River. It is no longer extant.

2 An honorific name for a temple hall in which a Buddhist statue is enshrined.
