mizugoshi shōji 水腰障子

Also read mizukoshi shōji ; also called koshinashi shōji 腰無障子, mizu-itashōji 水板障子. The framework of a sliding screen which is entirely covered with pasted white paper such that no part of the framework is visible. The base and upper horizontal parts of the invisible frame are 90-105 mm. Two grips are supplied for opening and closing the mizugoshi shōji.
