mune 棟

Also called *munagi 棟木. A ridge. Mune includes not only the main ridge at the very top of a building, often called *ōmune 大棟, but many other ridges, for example corner ridges *sumikudarimune 隅降棟 and descending ridges *kudarimune 降棟 etc.
