Nenjū gyōji no shōji 年中行事障子

A standing screen *tsuitate shōji 衝立障子 placed on the low wooden floor ochi-itajiki 落板敷 outside the upper door kami-no-ko 上戸 of the courtiers' room, Denjō-no-ma 殿上間 of the Seiryōden 清涼殿, Kyoto Gosho 京都御所. The screen listed the events relating to the regular annual ceremonies at court *nenjū gyōji 年中行事, most relating to agriculture and/or religious rites.
