A miniature pagoda in a bowl or rotund bottle shape. The pagoda is made of gilt bronze *kondō 金銅, and is used to enshrine thirty-two grains *nyoi hōju 如意宝珠 (wishful-filling gems). The only extant nōsashōtō is owned by Chōfukuji 長福寺 in Nara, and is dated from the Kamakura period.
