oriido-no-kagenoki 下り井戸の影の樹

Lit. "spiral well with shade tree." A tree planted near a spiral well *oriido 下り井戸 so that it throws a shadow on the well water. Although prunes ume 梅 and willow yanagi 柳 were used, the pine matsu 松 was most common.
