Lit. "a pillar lavishly decorated with cloisonne." Pillars embellished with a variety of materials and techniques: intricate filigree of gold or silver; inlaid mother-of-pearl; Buddhas, bodhisattvas, animals, plants, cloud and dragon patterns and geometrical motifs applied with paint or lacquer.
