Also called nuritatebashira 塗立柱, nuridashibashira 塗出柱 or yanagibashira 柳柱. A corner pillar in a tea ceremony room *chashitsu 茶室 with the upper part having about 75 to 76 cm of bark scraped off while most of the lower part of the corner post is shaved off, painted, and then plastered. Example: Urasenke Yūin 裏千家又隠 in Kyoto.
