St. James

There had been an altar dedicated to James and John in the cathedral that burned in 1218.

James was the patron saint of the local corporation of haberdashers who had their headquarters in this chapel and were originally represented in a window.

In 1253  Laurent de Montreuil, penetencier, founded three chaplaincies here.
