Also called okusha karamon 奥社唐門. A gate with cast bronze doors or a gate that is entirely made of bronze. 

One example is the Nikkō Tōshōgū 日光東照宮 (1641) in Tochigi Prefecture. It has a single ridge, made of bronze called *hirakaramon 平唐門 of ikken ikko 一間一戸. It also has undulating, gables are on each end and bronze, guard dogs *komainu 狛犬 on each side. The gate is in front of the repository *hōtō 宝塔, for relics of people close to the shogun.
