A molding found on the corners of pillars, sills, etc, often used on paneled doors such as *karado 唐戸 and *sangarado 桟唐戸. Only a single curve softens the corners. Therefore, it is also called rounded molding *marumen 丸面. The same molding can be found on the posts and ribs of a coffered ceiling tenjō gōbuchi 天井格縁.
