Also nobeto 延べ斗. A rectangular bearing block that is wider than usual and supports a corner bracket arm *sumihijiki 隅肘木. The nobito and the bracket arm run in the same direction. The bearing block is open on each of its short ends so that the corner bracket arm passes through easily. It may also carry a corner rainbow beam, sumikōryō 隅虹梁.
