Also called *sumiyuki hijiki 隅行肘木, or ushihijiki 牛肘木. A corner bracket arm. A bracket arm *hijiki 肘木 that runs parallel to the ridge line at the corner of a building. It is placed in the same direction as the hip rafter *sumigi 隅木.
