1 The incline of a stone wall and castle rampart. Nori ichiwari 法一割, means that for every 1 m of height, the incline is offset by 10 cm. This is computed by dropping a perpendicular line from the upper corner of the wall to the ground. The angle made by the outermost extent of the stone wall in relation to the ground is called norijiri 法尻. The slope is called norimen 法面 and the corner where the face and top meet is called norikata 法肩.
