The Medieval Architecture Online Teaching Project is a collaborative web site developed under the auspices of the Media Center for Art History, Archaeology and Historic Preservation and the Department of Art history and Archaeology at Columbia University. A group of distinguished medieval architectural historians have contributed material in their fields of
specialization. Additional digital resources have been developed by the Media Center for Art History to enhance this learning environment for both
teachers and students.

The Project was funded by a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The University of Granada graciously hosted the Medieval Architecture Conference in the summer of 2000 that provided the starting point for this project.
