Chapel of Saint Etienne

The existence of this chapel not documented until 1427-­‐but the window tracery is same as other early chapels. There were five chaplaincies of S Etienne in the cathedral-­‐no foundation documents have survived. On the exterior west buttress-­‐Transfiguration of Christ between Moses and Elijah. Below were statues of Adam and Eve destroyed in 18th century.
