Bishop Gérard de Conchy

Tomb said to be that of Bishop Gérard de Conchy. The tomb has been inserted into the lower wall soon after construction. The door to the right once led to a passage to the bishop’s palace. More recently it has accommodated the head of John Baptist.
Bishop Gérard de Conchy presided over work of construction on the choir--the completion of the radiating chapels and start on the upper choir.
